 BREAD OF LIFE

I would like to share with you the message from the First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ ofLatter Day Saint.

The message is about the Bread of Life “

Jesus said, “I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever” (John 6:51).”

I chose something that Elder D. Todd Christofferson said: “Jesus teaches us, His disciples, that we should look to God each day for the bread—the help and sustenance—we require in that particular day”

Studying this message, I thought that I could made Bread as an example for the sister that I will be visiting, and help them to think the importance to ask to Heavenly Father for our Spiritual and temporary Bread, also encourage their to share the bread with family and friends.

I am planning to make seasonal Pumpkin Bread and create a label with orange, black and yellow (October colors). Then I think to add the pumpkin bread recipe, the sisters could make one by them self and remember the importance of the Bread of Life in our daily life and share with their family and friends.

This is my idea and I hope you like it and share it with any one you love.

EL PAN DE VIDA

Me gustaría compartir con ustedes el mensaje dado por la primera presidencia de La Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Ultimos Días.

Se trata del Pan de Vida y "Jesús dijo: “Yo soy el pan vivo que ha descendido del cielo; si alguno come de este pan, vivirá para siempre” (Juan 6:51)."

De acuerdo con lo que el Elder D. Todd Christofferson dice; "“Jesús nos enseña a nosotros, Sus discípulos, que debemos acudir a Dios cada día por el pan —la ayuda y el sustento— que precisemos ese día en particular”.

Estudiando el mensaje, se me vino a la mente que podria ejemplificarlo haciendo un pan para las hermanas que voy a visitar, instándolas así, a recordar que debemos acudir a Nuestro Padre Celestial por nuestro pan tanto fisico como espiritual, como también poder compartir este pan con nuestros familiares y amigos.

Aprovechando la ocasión pense hacerlo de calabaza y colocarle una etiqueta con colores que representan el mes de octubre (naranja, negro y amarillo). Decidi hacer mi etiqueta en forma de acordión y anexarle la receta del pan, de esta manera las hermanas pueden elaborarlo en sus casas y compartirlo a su vez recordar el mensaje.

Y aqui esta mi idea, espero que les guste y que puedan compartir este hermoso mensaje.
